problems recharging amp can

My amp can doesnt always recharge that well , Ive tried wiggling aroung the recharger wire , and it seems to work for a while . Should I pull the plug apart and attack it with a soldering iron ?

in the end i went to radio shack and bought a new battery (at 25%of the price fender wanted)

Hey Matt!

Always try the simplest solution first, which is usually a cable problem. Then inspect the charger itself for similar trouble, even the cable which plugs into the wall. If all cables check out, then test the charger to make sure the output is correct. If this checks out it may be time for a new battery, but try everything else first.

It was a cable problem , which was lucky because i pulled it apart whilst drunk , and then connected the wires and it is now recharging again .I will be in Galicia until just after christmas , then Thailand for a rest , then Marchish will be off to Valencia to start the big circle again .So will see you no ?
