I use the Ruxxac Extra Long model when I travel.
but they makes other sizes (the jumbo looks burly!):
And here, with a crap load of others:
Also, I've seen the Wesco model and it looks sturdy, , but it has a shorter bed at the bottom.

Perhaps a bit off thread, but I've been wondering about the motorised dolly -not golf cart, that is used for wheeling a golf bag around. Might need longer straps added to fit around amps etc. Some models even have a remote that allows the cart to follow you, or travel ahead. Sounds great for getting props from van to pitch.Comment

Click to see an example. Another model even has a small attached seat. comments?

Look under the heading DURABLE. It says it's designed to withstand 10 times the weight of a golf bag. Hopefully, plus clubs! I remember once my partner struggling with his bag and clubs only to find at the end of the round that some wag had loaded a huge rock into the bottom of the bag.Comment

Thanks 2 all,
I found something that looks like a folding/telescoping ruxxac in a hardwarestore in Japan, for 40$US.
its working fine, though maybe wont last as long as the real thing.

trolleys
it seems to me that the weakest part of all trolleys are the wheels.
If you get a sack trolley with inflatable tyres and a lightweight trolley you can make a heavy trolley with shitty wheels and a lightweight trolley with good wheels.
My amp is like the second trolley.
I simply threw away the sack barrow keeping the axle and wheels and bolted these to the body of the lightweight trolley. The amp is protected from vibrations whilst moving from place to place and mounting steps and pavements is a doddle.Comment

Target
I went to Target - one of those big box stores just waiting for you & your credit cards - and I found a sturdy little cart w/wheels in the luggage dep't that most normal & sane people use to shlep stuff around an airport.
I'm keeping mine. You can't have it. Let the bidding start now.Last edited by pablo; Mar-27-2005, 12:21 AM.Comment
