It took me 5 years and the help of a friend to realise the difference between the quality of whistles . Its all to do with cork balls .The quality whistles all use cork .Mines an Acme , and soundfully loud .

I always use something metal , instead of a hat , for the money . I find the sound of clanging coins quite pleasurable , and it seems to have that effect on others too , spurring them into dropping coins themselves .Comment

For the last month , weve been travelling on buses and trains , with all the usual mountain of stuff , but in big plastic boxes , on trolleys . Much more practical , and the bus drivers are much happier with the arrangementComment

Anyone feeling overly nervous before a show should drink a cup of camomile tea .I always used to motivate myself with a coffee but when nervous the show was shorter .With camomile tea , the shows 3 minutes longer and more relaxed . Coffee and coñac is good after the second or third shows when the confidence is higher .You cant beat a couple of kiwis (fruit)for a big surge of energy eitherComment

COINS!!! I hide all coins and seed my hat with a $5 bill and two $1 bills. I do not want to people to see or hear coins cuz if they do that's what they put in. I want bills to be put in. I also do not let the hat get too full so the audience doesn't think "with all that money he doesn't need any more."

Instead of dreaming of the next big trick in order to expand your show , win friends and succede in life , try expanding from the beginning . We put a new tune at the start , do a few stupid things , and when the old first song comes in , hey presto , more people , all waiting happily for the fun to begin .Comment

Stay hydrated. Make an effort to stay hydrated. It pays off. When active I can go through nearly a pint or litre of water an hour and still have little need to urinate. Add some protein to those kiwis and you should experience more endurance.Comment
