help me with WHIP REPAIR???
i have 6' whip...aussie, I think..not the mexican cowhide deal... and it was pretty dry. I was told to use mink oil on it, and since then, it has come unraveled from the MIDDLE... a braid has snapped. Its otherwise a really nice whip and Id hate to trash it if its fixable.
WHO KNOWS how or what to use...fishing line, kevlar, staples, etc.
And is there some thing better than mink oil, because im blaming this unfortunate incident on the minks.
While I got you here, is there a site to learn how to do a 4 braid rewrap for the end of another whip casualty I have? where's whipboy when you need him?
