Spreadsheets and tours...

With the fresh new purchase of a laptop, and pda, I am trying to computerize all the 'paperwork' we do on tours. I have been trying to build a spreadsheet in quicken, but there isn't a template for what I want (venue name, date, guarantee, money actually made, gas/food $$ spent getting there, overall profit etc.) If anyone knows about this stuff and can help, please let me know.

I dont know about quicken, but there is a nice program out there called Booking Works. I use the free lite version, but the full program has milage, and all you may need to keep track of all of your bookings.

You should post this question to the Freakshow Discussion group. I know Ward and Chris use computers for at least 80% of their office work. Maybe someone there has a template you could copy..
