I gotta know,which gets better mileage?
What brands and models are good?I've got some $$ and am gonna get 1 or the other.Let a torrent of advice rain down upon
my prone computer..

If it's mileage you want, then the rule of thumb is the smaller and lighter the vehicle, the better the mileage. I have a Toyota Corolla '93 wagon which gets 31-36 miles per US gallon.

The worst offenders are the SUV types ("Stupid, Useless Vehicles"), although the smaller ones like Toyota Rav4 seem to do fairly well. (but lack the space of the Lincoln Navigator or Chevy Suburban, which both boast a hefty 14-17 miles per US gallon)
