    Upgraded Database

    Greetings all,

I’m testing a massive upgrade to the performers yellow pages service that I created 5 years ago... The new Database can be accessed at:

This new system has a two step registration process. First you post your information, then the system administrator approves it (a little security feature that was put in place to prevent abuse of the service). Once approved (you will receive an email confirmation of your approval) you can access your account and change information contained there in at any time. You can also list specialties which can get called up when searches for specific needs are required... I’m really impressed with how the new system looks and feels but am keen to get other people’s feedback, so if you get the chance it would be great if you could swing by and give it a test drive and let me know if you run across any bugs. If you do, please let me know - mailto:cbg@checkerhead.comcbg@checkerhead.com</a>

    The old Yellowpages listings at:

will continue to exist, but I'll be phasing out the ability to add new info there and you will need to register with the new system to get listed.

I hope that this new system proves to be a useful resource to the performance community and look forward to your feedback.

    Cheers,

    David Aiken

    Hello Hello Hello…

Warm greetings from Japan… In and around doing shows at the Hokkaido Marine Park I’ve been plugging away at transferring all of the information from the Old Yellow Pages Directory

over to the new Database service at:

The Old Yellow Pages will be retired in the next month or so, if you’re still listed in the yellow pages, please register in the new system, and if your linked to the old yellowpages, please update your links accordingly.

As part of working away at things, I’ve also enjoyed cruising around and checking out some of the over 300 different performers websites that are listed… It’s made me realize what a cool community of variety entertainers there is, and what a pleasure it is to be a part of it. If you haven’t checked out the New Database recently I encourage you to do so, it’s quite amazing the variety of talent that is listed there.

    Warm regards,
