    New year marketing

Working on my 2010 marketing plan:

    - if you'd like to be on either monthly email newsletter list, just let me know.
( either Big Fun Show! or the Pro Comedy Writing One)

    - I'm expanding my list of contacts on LinkedIn. If we've done projects together, I'd be glad to add you.

-Is there a simple extension/ file format for making postcards?

-my idea blog is at www.thebigidea.com

Let me know what you are doing for creative marketing ideas,

    dave

Wow - that sounds like a great, focused approach to marketing your act - How is it going?

Why are you talking to yourself ?
That is not a good marketing idea because people will think you are crazy.

        Insanity generates 'Buzz', it's 'edgy'
It's been working since before Van Gogh.
I've been faking senility for years.

Whilst insanity is edgy, Van Gogh is not a good example when relating crazy with marketing.
He only ever sold one painting before his death !
I don't think any performer would want some agent profiting from their show after they're dead.

The gymnastics required to argue with you are beyond me. Dead street performers, tough sell.

My marketing approach has become more active in these bleak times,

              here's what I've changed.

Lately, more and more, when the phone rings, I pick it up.

I upload my jpegs to Vistaprint and they make postcards for me. When I need to do them at home, I make them in a big table in a word doc.

Other than that, I'm a little busy marketing, so I can't get further into your query...
