feedback is always nice. i know what my intent was upon creating the site. for some eyes, its exactly what they want to see. for promoters, festivals and such, perhaps its not gonna hit home. honestly, thats fine. the feedback i seem to be asking from people is the picture selection.
anyway, the site was created to promote me and what i do.
avoiding the race
living life
having a good time doing it
The picture gallery is my favorite part. Just flipping through them tells me allot about your lifestyle and presents you as a really interesting guy with an amazing story. I actually found myself just wanting to meet you and listen to stories, or attend a lecture you are putting on about your travels and the lessons you learned (or whatever).
I would have chosen a different picture for the bio page. You look a little melancholy in that shot. Based on what you posted on the page I would have chosen the shot of the bicycle on the bus; that shot tells more of a story, even though your face is out of focus.
the design is pretty basic with boring fonts and stuff. I don't know how to give constructive feedback on that. Good luck.
Nick I liked the site as well.It was really fun to check out. Just my thoughts where do you work out of? If I wanted to hire you I'd at least like to no if you are in my country or not. I'm like Evan, the bike
picture is kick ass. Shoulda been up front.
I really like cool things too. I have a cool bike as well. Mine has a side car attached that I made. About the picture, Where does the girl ride?
people said that they wanted to read more about me in the bio part. frankly, i feel that telling people where im from and personal info is of no importance. where im at, and where im going is much more important.
on the menu, i thought of having a part that said "where is nick w?"
i figured if anyone wanted to know exactly where i was, they would prolly find the answer in the calander section.....it seems to make sense to me.
the front page pic was the most hardest to choose. i had several close friends tell me they like the pic with the kid. i decided not to put the bike pic as front page because, at current moment, i dont have a tallbike. i had to, sniff, unfortunately, sniff sniff, ditch the bike in east china. no china man would even try to mount that thing, so i couldnt even give it away.
as in life, everything is subject to change. nothing lasts forever. except good friends and family.
I'm interested in where you've been. You said yourself that this isn't a blatantly commercial website, it's about your lifestyle and you, so why not put that in there. A blog would be cool.
cheers nick,
your website looks great fun. the photogallery is really nice. definitly looks like you love your job!
all the best and keep on rollin´

do you perform cups and balls on your suitcase, and no stand under it? How does doing it that way compare to a waist height table? I enjoyed looking around your web site, thanks. MagiCol, Street magician, New Zealand.
i do not perform the cups and balls. my current setup is a catalogue case, on top of that is a folding chair and on top of that is a chest. the show gets worked out of the chest. all self contained.
