it was two minutes into the video before anything happened. the whole video should be two minutes long.... well, three minutes. I agree with scot, I had to force myself to watch it long enough to give you feedback.
People make their decision on you based on the first 30 seconds of watching. Do something, or preferably several things in that 30 seconds. You had a clip that established character, which is good, but you did NOTHING else.
The still pictures are nice, but don't really belong in the promo video. If you have to put them in, put them at the end.
Why do you put repeating clips of the same lines in different shows? It doesn't do anything but slow the video down, unless you are showing us a big trick in lots of super impressive venues, which you aren't.
Sound quality sucks. A little bit of music over the top might help take drown some of the ambient noise and give you some forward moving pace to keep things interesting.
At the end of the day, you really need better footage. I know how hard that is to get... good luck.
Also, spend some time reading critiques of other videos that got posted on this forum. Learn from those critiques and then critique your own stuff.Comment

Thanks for un-pancaking that, it is great addvice. I have heard diffrent things on time but I do agree that our time is way over.
It is working with what we got but that is the best thing about this job.

Just looked at your promo 122 sec. Short and sweet and can see how that makes a lot of sence.

well, get everything out there in 3 minutes. It can be longer, than that, but make sure that if they turn it off after 3 minutes they have the message you wanted to tell. After two or three minutes you can slow things down more.
I do like how my promo is short and sweet. I'm not happy with a lot of things about it still, specifically the lack of crowd on a cold slow day. promo is a never ending work in progress and I'll always be looking to make it better.Comment
