    T-shirts

I know the general wisdom is that selling t-shirts is more trouble that it's worth, with little chance of profit; however, we have a couple upcoming events where the odds are in our favor, so:

Any suggestions of a printer that is reliable and inexpensive? We want to do a run of, say, 100 shirts, full color, 2 sizes, and we need them by the end of the month.

    Thanks!

as far as I've found full color is expensive and difficult to get right on a short run. If you limit it to two color, the alignment of the screens can be bad, but it doesn't show up that much.

    quick tips:
Make sure the design is good: something people would normally want to wear. If I would have done a cool design, I would be selling my shirts 3x as fast.
UPDATE: The shirts all sold out Got my pancake shirts in and ready to get them out to you. If you want an "I (heart) PANCAKES" tshirt, I'm dishin' them out for only $15 $10 (INCLUDING SHIPPING!!?!) for a little while to get them out to the people that need them. It say's "I Love

Have a person that is selling the tshirts before and after your show -- the whole time.

talk about them during the show a few times.

make your sales table look good. make them look as valuable as possible

      Go Classic?

Given the overall look/feel of the show, what about the real-deal Iron-On? Mebbe sell them a kit (tshirt & image)?

This is actually for Cheeky Monkey, so I think I'd better go with a printer.

We've always had the best luck with a local printer, just someone who does a lot of shirts for schools and teams and whatever, and the shirts that sell the best are the ones that tie into something pop culture (the devilinis Mr Juicy Juice South Park shirt sold the fastest, best and most).
