    New webdesign , feedback appreciated

Hello, im one of the lurking members of this board, havent been posting very much but have probably met some of you on the streets.
Anyway Im currently in the middle of designing a new homepage, the one i had before was made 8 years ago and probably scared possible clients away...
if any of you guys got the time and inclination, I would be really happy if you culd have a look at it and share your views. Thanx in advance.

It's a nice simple design, easy to read. I could do without the bricks at the bottom - they don't say anything about you or your act, they just came with the template.

Your English is reasonably clear, and of course you probably speak it very well, but there are a lot of spelling errors and some grammar problems. If you wanted me to edit some of your pages - just to correct spelling mistakes and fix a couple of odd sentences - I'd be happy to help. I don't know if most of your clients are Swedish anyway, but it might be worthwhile just in case you want to market to native English speakers, too.

The black text on the reddish background was a little hard to read, and the links completely disappears; a different text color would help a lot.

        Thanx Isabella and Stephon!
Ill take all of your advice, bottom bricks going away , links changing colour. And the text... well i have never been much of a speller, and i must admit i more or less just babelfished the swedish text in my head to get an english version out quickly... I really should have run it through a spell check before posting here.
        Thanx for the feedback.
        Edit:
Oops found out what you meant stephon. There was a bug in the css file (layout file), page looked ok in firefox but explorer didnt load the rigth background for the page, hopefully i fixed it now.

agreed with stephon. simple background, high contrast link color.

          also:

the header is weird. sometimes it changes when you go to a new page sometimes it doesn't. makes it confusing as to whether a link worked or not.

I'm looking at the site in english and the header has words in another language.

it would be better to see a closer photo of your face up there.

          the footer is useless.

the about and the show page are only slightly different. What's going on?

I would take some of the links out of your menu. Fewer pages.

Also, write everything so that people can read only the first sentence.

Don't say you've done 100 paid gigs, say you've done over 2000 shows total.
