    Mailing lists for businesses...

Ok, so i wanna hype my Christmas Carol show to businesses
which hold a holiday party for their employees.

Anyone ever bought a list, and have an opinion on 'em; or have any other helpful strategies to impart?

    Chris

We maintain a list of everyone who'se ever contacted us for anything and do Christmas cards each year. But it's more of a goodwill thing.

I bet you could get the list for free - by going to the library and getting the Chamber of Commerce directory...but if you buy it, it will probably come in Excel or on labels and save you time.

        Business Journal

There likely is a Business Journal (a weekly newspaper) published in your area. They also publish a directory, Top 25 by catagory for various industries such as Telecommunications, or insurance. Of course that is the easy part. Figuring out WHO to contact at the business is the hard part. HR? Marketing? Employee retention? Boss's secretary to the assistant of morale?

Find out who your Santa's are and network with them. Hob nob with the caterers. Attend the LEADS and Chamber mixers. Doing it right is more work than the show!

        Good luck!
