Great article, Martin. Since I have actually read your grocery lists, I guess you could count me in your 1000. Well. Without me having to spend $100 per year on you.

You're in my top 20 [out of 27]

It's a structure that is easy to follow and progressive such that you could apply yourself to it at your own pace and measure progress which is always encouraging, it's certainly helpful to me and I knew people here would get it. I like how the 'street performer protocol was used decades ago but few real street performers had had exposure to it.

My grocery list has more on it than beer, cigs, coffee now, much more interesting read.

        now what? Call to action!

        Thanks Martin!
After 25 years of building our residential window cleaning business, we certainly have a LOT of true fans. After 10 years of stilt performing, a fair number of regular clients. After 5 years of Giant Puppets and the solar powered Bubble Tower Sculpture
http://www.bubbletower.com/, a few more regular clients. And our first state fair! YEA!

But what about something for the individual fan? I believe magicians refer to "back of the room" sales. I do sell a few sets of stilts from time to time http://www.stiltwalker.com/stiltsforsale.htm
but I have an itch for something else, just not sure what it is.

I note in the comments that an artist reports selling calendars. Hmmm?

        Thanks again .

        Cheers!

Over my 22 years shlepping tricks, I have accrued roughly 2200 false fans. Does that help? These are people whose ambiavalence
is honed to an edge keener than an envelope. They wouldn't walk three doors down to see me perform, but if they found themselves sitting in a show of mine, they would be highly likely to remain in the theater for at least three or four routines, and would probably wait for an appropriate dead moment to get up.
