    Wait, Wolves! Fresh Blood!

Since I've been commenting on others -

My promo video is up at YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LzdcO1YETmI

This represents our outdoor show, which we do at busker festivals and renaissance festivals. We have a different video for indoor shows and corporate.

    I hope it shows:

-We do a lot of different skills
-We attract and hold a big crowd
    -We're fun
    -We're sexy

I already know it's a little grainy, it's a third-generation and fixing that problem is in process.

Do you feel it's unprofessional to have it on YouTube? It's saving me a lot of money in mailing DVD's, and it's faster. I'm going to have it embedded in the website soon, but this has been a stopgap that works well, and i'll probably leave it up for viewing even after I start directing clients to the site instead.

    Love to hear comments

Hey, Allison -- good to see your video & website up!! I don't know what to think about the whole "you tube" question -- I know a lot of people are also using "myspace" -- but too often the pages themselves offend my sense of graphic design (i.e. too much going on all at once)

I do think it's classier to embed the youtube into your site, and even classier to have the video on the site itself.

Anyway, the vid itself looks great! Congrats.

    Pinch Todd for me!

      choices

I use YouTube as a supplement to the DVDs we send out. http://www.youtube.com/stiltpro

If someone sends me an email with a specific question, I can send them the appropriate link, and it is easy for them to share the link with the rest of the committee. (there is ALWAYS a committee!)

I also direct them to YouTube while they are waiting for the mail to deliver their DVD.

A phenomina to remember, is just because we have new choices, doesn't mean we give up old choices. I still have oatmeal in my cuboard, along with dry cereal, frozen pastries, eggs and bacon, yogert and granola! Lots of new choices for breakfast, but I still keep some of the old ones around - and use them!

Be aware of the tools available, and use them when they serve your needs, and your clients' needs.

it's not unprofessional to put it on youtube, but once it gets tagged, a bunch of similar and better videos will pop up to the right for the agent to see.

don't keep yoghurt in your cabinet.

        doesn't look that fun
        it's ungraceful and very dark
the outfits aren't too appealing to me
        the lighting is crap
        the music is annoying
the edititing is too fast to get an idea of anything being complete.
