Gang,
I recently worked with Darin Basile (http://www.daflye.net) a photographer from the San Diego area. He did some photos of the Birdhouse Factory show I'm currently with and I wanted to recommend him to any other variety performers in who might be looking for a photographer to do promotional work. Not only is Darin a good photographer, but he is also a circus artist himself, so he understands many of the issues that surround the industry. He recently emailed me saying that he was interested in shooting more circus artist types. His exact words were: "Performers make way more interesting subjects than skinny girls with big boobs." Granted, I didn't say that we agreed on everything!
