    The Entertainers.

For anyone has, at any point, wondered to themselves, "Why the crap is that Rachel Peters hanging around here, anyway?",
    fere's a link: http://www.rachelpeters.net/entertainers.htm

It's just a little jabbering and a few slides, but it's good for now.

...i've spent the last five days in front of this machine, rebuilding my website (which is uploading as I type). I smell like a dead fish (who, just before dying farted a hard boiled egg), and I probably look like one too.

my finger tips are numb from typing.

    fkja;wl;jfaoiwjlsdkj;lsjf20985048 sdl ...sd .d.f . .... . . .

    RIP, Rachel Peters.
Well, maybe I WILL just keep telling myself that.

    Encouragement where encouragement's due.

    Rachel.
The content is very good, sort of free range unfettered.
Its apparent you have both a wandering imagination coupled with the ability to focus on projects in a sort of scary intense way until completed.
It would appear also that you format your layout for optimum use at iMax theatres. Your page width is large enough to have to incorporate logarithms adjusting for the earths curvature.
I also think that the stuff you wrote about me is a little understated but thats just my humble opinion.
I would suggest making Eric some sort of toy of himself and having him swap you his siteskills. Just in terms of the dramaticly wonky bits.
I am still compiling my photos that you require for your animation work, I had a 9 year old club me in the brow with the end of a long plank while 'Helping' me make a cabinet and the wound interfered with makeup application.
I would think, given the quality of your work you could easily have a little sideline making animated stuff for some of the regulars here to have on their sites.
But that would be after your present projects and I'm glad to know that I'll get in early.
    Do wash.

"Brilliant" is an understatement, eh? I'll have to work on my literary skills. ...How's.... um.... "Frickin' brilliant"?

Yeah -- the site. I don't claim to have any knowledge of site building. I'd even go as far as to say that I HATE doing it. I very much dislike it, with a passion.
That's strange that it shows up wide to you. More input on this would be appreciated, if anybody wants to give. It shows up all all in place on my computer, so I don't know how to fix this problem.

Rachel is to computer web illiteracy as.... um.... as ...... as Rachel is to word comparison games.

The structure of the film as a whole is isn't quite as "freerange" as that little intro on my site. I didn't want to post the whole thing. I've currently got about 19 pages in my official "proposal", single spaced (although that includes a page of each one of those brown title pages with little Acrobat Rachel. so I guess that's 13 pages, singles spaced), but it's a lot different than what I showed you the first time around. I'm trying to to SHOW them what I want to do, rather than tyring to describe it... which means writing and making EXACTLY what I want to do.

I've been thinking about doing freelance animation. I believe I'll probably be doing some work for Hilby soon, and that will be my first honest-to-goodness freelance animation job. I've only done graphics before (I mean, for freelance).
The longer I can stay working independently, the better.
I have yet to register a company (i've got others I'd also like to start) and I know nothing about how to deal with taxes, while working freelance. ...that's what scares me.

oh. someone's here to pry me away from the computer and take me to a movie............ musoudpfi ....wash? I just did my laundry.

        core proficiencies

        I'd prefer 'Incandescent'
Hilby is a good employer, he has money you know.
That site took you 5 days and you hated it. Someone else could do it in two and be paid with 2 days animation (which you like doing) leaving you 3 days over to further do things you enjoy and which possibly pay.
At some point you are going to get a large check and wonder how to spend it.
List all the stuff you have to do but don't particularily enjoy, and pay others to do it.
Your productivity and hence your income will increase.
Now if you'll excuse me i must tend to my empire.

The last opera I went to had plenty of width issues.
Well, maybe I WILL just keep telling myself that.

i need to get back to paper and pencil. ...or maybe rock and chizzle.
I've never heard of brouser issues with rocks.

I find the comment, "free range unfettered" interesting, as an outside perspective, because I always feel like I'm holding back -- staying safe.

                Forget the Web Site!

Rachel, I propose that with your obvious talent for creating 3 dimensional stuff, you should leave your site as is for now.

Instead, use your time to get creative with your toys, hats, accessories etc. When you get picked up by Mattel or Russ Berrie, they will be more than happy to design a first class website for you. Get movin' girl!

oh shoot. I'm on my sister's computer, and I finally witnessed my "width issues". that sucks. A pro website is definately in order. ...I hate having things not quite right.
