PAL and NTSC

I've made our Promo on a DVD that can be viewed on any region. I made it NTSC. I know it can still work on a PAL system, but will the resolution be all screwed up viewing NTSC on PAL?
Any advice would be great. Thanks.

The resolution won't be as good as a pal source, but that's because it's mechanically converted. The things that will show it most will be hard lines like clothing stripes and patterns and on screen text.

It's nothing to worry about though. If an agent gets a tape that has good sound, snowy picture, but looks like it was well edited and shot... it still looks like it was originally a good video. Start with as nice of a product as possible and it will show through whatever DVD machine it encounters.

No way! You saw that show? That's a rare show we do, only when its a special gig. In The street Fest is a fun festival, they are up for ANYTHING and will help make it happen. unlike most gigs out there.

you know, i will most likely make a PAL version too. we are applying to a ton of european fests this year.
