    Anyone Seen This Marketing Book???

    Here 'tis:

    Millionaire Magician

    What's the scoop???

I generally run from these things like the plague but I recognized several names in his endorsements list.

I bought it, just to piss of Martin, in the Fall. Its worth the price (under 150 when I bought it.) for the contact info, but he also lays out a decent roadmap. Like all business books, and software, it is only as good as the user. If you are an information junkie, its a decent fix. The gold folder interface uses acrobat reader, which he supplies if you don't have it. I vote yes.

Check out a sample of Randy Charach's (the author) writing in the performers.net Library:

As Taxi said, the book is filled with useful infomation specific to what we do and the markets we work. But as with any "self-help" book, that info needs to be USED to be effective. Read all the books in the world, but unless you take action and do something with the knowledge, you're wasting your time.

This is the book I wish I had when I was starting out 12 years ago. Now that I'm more established, it acted as a good refresher course. If you're within the first couple years of performing for a living, it's a definite must-have resource.
