    web page programming

Does anyone have any recommendations for a web designer / programmer who is good & works FAST and has reasonable rates? I have the basic design already done, I just need it programmed.

Also, what about web hosting companies?

    Thanks,

    étienne

    étienne,

I'm a web designer. Send me your basics and I'll give you a rate.

I'd go with Martin Ewen on that one, myself. Get him back to us in one piece, son of big cheese.

While not on the open market as a web designer as yet I am gestating to the point where I 'm producing discernible kicks on the womb wall.
At this stage I am working on one large visuals artists site and also enjoying butchering my friends reputations with false pages kept in-house.
My own site which is about 3 years old is a simple yet ramshackle affair.
It has succeeded in getting me some interesting work which is its purpose.
Basicly I'm primitive but cheap as I come from a third world country.
              Sillypeople.com, bobarino.com are some I've had a hand in.
              Taxi and Nick are next.

Of course you did. Duh! I'll slap my wrist.

And Martin, I did post that message before I read your post. Apologies to all.

                      Hi

I build a bunch of Multimedia stuff (websites, cd roms, animations, videos etc...) And, like Martin, I live in a 3rd world country, so the rates are cheap...
You can see my stuff at http://www.kimpotter.co.nz

                      Cheers - Kim

Hey, Thom -- glad you stopped by my pitch last night and made the p.net connection for me!

Your website is a beautiful piece of marketing! I like the testimonial section. The best way of evaluating a web designer is to check out his/her own site. If you like what you see then probably the designer and you are on the same frequency! Not that seeing a crappy site is reason to snerf -- it might be the client insisted of being snerfworthy!

                        Best regards,

                            Peter,

Thanks for the comments. The only problem I have with my site right now is the pictures. I just don't like 'em that much. I'm in the process of re-shooting right now (photos are soooo damned expensive). After that, I think I'll call it done for a few months.

Of course, I say that now, knowing I'll be tinkering with the damned thing in a couple of days.. sigh....

I am a web designer. I am currently working on a website for one performer incorporating Flash and HTML. You may know him as Spinner's Wacky World of Tops, if any of you know him.

I have made several other websites for my won personal use, as well as one for a local bed and breakfast. You can check out a few at the bottom of the message if you want to take a peak at what I am capable of.

So if you are in need of a web designer, go ahead and drop me an e-mail at diehard_creed_fan@hotmail.com and let me know what you want and we'll talk.
