    Promo Pics

Does anyone know if I can produce good enough promo pics on my computer and printer?
they are 1999 imac and epsom 600.
I don't wanna shell out the coin to the
photographer who did the shots {and has the negatives}for actual photos cuz I feel i'm getting hosed financially.
    Any suggestions?

    Start Here:

Standard actors headshots, very reasonably priced.

    DO NOT PRINT THEM YOURSELF!!!!

No matter how good your printer is they still look like a "printer job". That means cheap. The agents will notice the difference, trust me!

Your headshot is usually the first thing an agent pulls out of your package. It's your first impression, make it GREAT!

Spend some coin, it's worth it.....

Heres a question....Glossy or Matte finish...which do you prefer...which do you think agents prefer...I guess it depends on the look of the photo...But I have always done glossy on photos....hmmmm I wonder.

MATTE!! Glossy gives you eye strain an if you were looking at 100+ photos how mutch time would you spend looking at some thing that gives you a head ache? well that's what backstage had to say about it.
don't print them your self, it is cheaper to get it done than to get a printer that will make it look like you got it done

Matte finish is best. It's cheaper and easier to autograph.
