Free Standing Ladder

I'm looking for a free standing ladder.

Preferably 6.5-8.5 ft high. Aluminum or stainless steel. Detachable footplates would be preferred.

Would rather pick up a used one than have one made.

If anyone is willing to part with one, let me know.

Get one made, it's not hard. Just open the yellow pages and spend 1 day talking to 10 metal shops and then the next day go back to the best one. Building a ladder for a metalsmith is like asking you to juggle three bean bags.

anybody have plans? what's the distance between rungs...and then distance of the top rung? How wide? Welders like to have some sort of plan to work from...

Mine is brand new Mr. heck, rubber bottoms, and adjustable top bar that can move to fit you. Chrome plated too.

Check out JcpJuggling.com they are out of spain but have opended up in Fla. I thik it is 175 for a 6 footer. Good to start on
