    carny games

    hey there
    I am trying to find out some information on where to buy carnival games. In particular that incredibly wacky "climb a ladder" game.
    Does anyone know of a vendor for these contraptions??
    My websearches are coming up empty.
    I prefer to make my purchase off a person whos parents werent related.....but.....

      You could try asking at the Believe It or Not forum on the Magic Cafe--several old carnys post there and might have a lead.

      Oh, even better would be the Sideshow World Yahoo Group. Lots of current carnys there.

          I dont know if they will have a ladder but I bet they could tell you where to go to find one.

                  yes in some of my searches I found the name "Jacobs Ladder" mentioned but didnt know if it was a generic name for the game or a name given by a certain company.
                  The most common name I found was "Ladder Climb"
                  I could only find it to rent, not to buy. Maybe I should make one!!!
