This is a no-brainer to builder yourself.

1 board + 1 piece of PVC pipe = Rolla Bolla!!!

If you want to get fancy (like me):

use 3/4 birch plywood for the board and router all the edges to round them off. Then sandpaper the board until it is silky smooth. Apply 2 coats of paint / varnish (my show colors are blue & orange so my board is blue). Buy the sandpaper with adhesive on the back meant for skateboards at your local skate shop and cut two squares (or whatever design you want) and apply them to the top of the board (where your feet go).

    optional:

get a sheet of rubber from your local DIY and cut to the size of the board and glue it to the bottom.

    VERY VERY optional:

when you cut the plywood for your board, cut two strips 1 inch wide. screw these onto either side of the bottom to create stoppers so you don't just roll off the side. Ideal for beginners, but once you get the hang of the thing you don't really need them.

A Good sized PVC for rolla bolla is 10 inches in diameter. You should be able to find it at a plumbing shop, if not the local B&Q.

      thanx

thanks etiene ,thats good info , i already have the home meade version for practice and for the street but I wanted a set for stage now that I have a few tricks and am close to having a routine,
i am absolutely terrible and even the most elementary carpentry skills so i am looking to buy a presentable set, particularly a few metal tubes.

        Hi AJ,

give Gordon a phone - I know he has a nice set [Spin gave it to him a couple of years ago] he may be willing to sell. If that's no good then check out butterfingers.co.uk, they have them, I think they may be a bit pricey though.

Hope you are well and no doubt see you in a couple of months,

        spike.
