Static Trapeze Wanted

Does anyone have a nicely weighted static trapeze for sale? I don't need a rig/ support- no, just two ropes and a bar, basically, with the weights. Thanks, and happy spring!- Allison

Buy Hovey Burgess's book circus techniques. There is a great section on static trap. Then got to Hope Depot and but the stuff. You can get evrything you need to put one together yourself there. If you cant figure it out fro mthe book, or you dont want to get the book then (you are in Chicago right?) and go to the Actors Gynasium. Someone there must have one for sale or can tell you how to make one yourself.

Thanks Todd! Very good suggestions- I have that book, actully and it's very good. I just met Julio Goana of The Flying Goanas' - a trapeze family living here in Chicago. Their gym is located at 5917 N. Broadway (near Hollywood)-PH312) 742 - 8259. They teach all aspects of trap and build rigs and hang bars. They are nice folks who are serious about the art and live the life, if anyone else is interested. Cheers! - A
