Used Tetterboard or plans for such

Anyone know of a used tetterboard for sale? How about where I can get plans to build one?

    Thanks,

Michael, talk to Peter Boulanger of Tesseract. He's part of Humans Against Gravity, a tettertroupe (teetertroupe sp?), and I believe either he or Darren Adam built the one I last saw them using.

I don't want it to be too big, but I would like it to be functional...able to lift 150 lbs about 5 feet into the air.

Is this realistic? (assuming the weighty side person has enough weight and both people sort of know what they are doing)

Sure, it's realistic - but practical? That has yet to be determined...

I don't know them, but you can take a look at:

          cbe-circus ground acts

          unicycle France

The local trapeze group has a small teeter board that they may not use any more. I will try to contact them and see if it is available...

I own two pieces of equipment from Unicycle-Voltige and trained on their tight-wires. Their props are ULTRA high quality and worth the freight fees. If you do order from them, be sure to have them subtract the TVA (taxe-valeur ajouté) -- the sales tax. 17.5 % in France. What you are buying is "vente a l'exportation."

On the declaration to customs, they will fudge the price so you don't have to pay duty-- if you ask them nicely. I had them ship my stuff as "personal effects" but I had to ask REALLY nicely.
