favorite toy is gone for ever(?)

I bought 5 American Klassics from Dubé (big chunky ones) in -98, and when I ordered a new set of the same club just a few weeks ago, Dubé has for some reason changed the model into a crappy piece of plastic which would be good for most things except for juggling.

I want to buy as many of the old ones as I can come across(?) Please give me a shout if you have some for sale or if you have seen any around.

    Hugs

I have 7 Klassics left from my original 10, but I'm not giving them up. Sorry.

I noticed the NEW design in his latest catalog. It looked to me like he just cut the ends to be square instead of round.

Have other things changed? Size? Weight? Quality?

I thought the square ends would be an improvement. Let me know if there are other differences that have worsened the design.

      Hello Jim!

The flat knob is the only god improvement.

      Bad things:

      -The spin is different (slower)
-The handle is far too light
      -The quality is worse
-The rubberknobs on the top is not there any more
-The weight I don't know about, feels wrong or maybe I am just pissed off.

It all adds up and creates an amazingly hard juggled thing.
As you understand this is my personal opinion of which I am certain (read: I hope)that I do not share with for instance Dubé.

I hope this has not affected anyone else out there to not sell their clubs to me! Go for it: I need them!

Hugs again best wishes vi hörs!

Perhaps if enough people complain, they'll bring the old ones back.
        It worked with New Coke...

I called the mister dubé himself on my phone from sweden, but I think the cord was too long, cause the answer I wanted never came through.

He said that it was impossible to create the same cast as the old one (which they have thrown away...)

I have got Dirk Gently on the case searching the scrapyards of New York for it, and my hands are swetty even though they clinch an icecold nordic winter phone waiting for a long-distance call. (don't worry 'bout the cost -Tom Waits will pay for it).

I didn't drink the old one either, no offense for all of you filling your guts with the brown water. You will all die eventually: Just like me!
          Best regards/Hälsningar Johan
