The Lectrosonics LR175 Add-On Wireless Receiver is designed to be used with the Long Ranger II, Long Ranger III or Long Ranger 4 main units. The LR175 picks up a signal from a wireless transmitter and delivers the sound through a Long Ranger speaker. This receiver mounts to the rear panel and gets its power directly from the main unit. The second antenna is already built into the speaker horn and is ready for this add on. The audio output is fed directly through the AUX mic input on the control panel.
The unit has been modified so that it can plug into any system via a 1/4″ jack, AC power pack, and external antenna. (See picture) It could easily be modified to once again attach to the back of a Long Ranger.
The transmitter was professionally serviced back in 2009 by The Broadcast Shop.

As a historical note, this was once attached to the Long Ranger that I bought from Jim (of this board) back in 2000.
