    crate taxi -30

    not even sure this is worth posting...maybe for someone semi tech savy.

    I have a crate taxi 30. it is the middle size model and to me an ideal size as you can take it as carry on on a plane and it fits overhead or under seat depending on the plane you are on.

    the battery is not holding a long charge and the gain nob on channel two seems to be a bit wonky.

    I am asking if anyone wants it and if so I will sell it as best offer.

    I prefer to sell it to someone in the S.F. bay area as I am not sure it is worth shipping too...if you want it to be shipped you will have to pay for that, plus whatever the offer.

    let me know:

    just a little info for anyone interested in buying this.

    I've changed the batteries out of these things countless times - its incredibly easy.

    just head down to radio shack - pick up a new batteries.

    take out maybe 10 screws tops. put new battery in - put screws back in - done

      dodgy knob

      Electronics supply stores sell aerosol cans of rheostat cleaner.
      for the dodgy knob, just take the offending knob off, and spray the (prolly mettalic) part from which the little post extends with the cleaner (i think its just forced air). A music store should have some of that stuff too.
