I just ordered about a grand worth of studio lighting gear so that I can do my own seamless promo shots and not have to deal with photographers copywrite issues and stupid high fees.
I figure most of us could use a break on photos.
so, if you are interested. I will spend all day with you taking pictures, editing, etc. They will be seemless white backgrounds like this . We can shoot every costume you have, do headshots, wide angle (fisheye) shots, full body shots, try some arty shots, and I might even be able to shoot stilt costumes (it will take some creative rigging in my loft). I will do some minor photoshop editing on 5 images and you will take ALL of the origional shots home (there might be as many as a thousand).
The images will be high enough resolution to print small posters (probably not banners, my camera is a D-70, only 6 megapixels).
You won't have to wory about copyright crap, like paying diferent amounts for diferent uses, or per image or per year. The images will be yours.
I'm a variety performer too, so I might have a better understanding of what you are after than some photographers.
I live in Lancaster PA. If you need, I will probably be able give you a futon to crash on for a night.
These are pics I took of my girlfreind using work lights from home depo. using lights that suck . I will post examples of what I get using real studio flashes once I have a chance to practice.
I'm not a pro photographer, but I think I'm pretty good anyway.
I'm thinking I'll charge $100 for the service until I get more practice and more confidence with the gear. If you're interested, let me know so we can start talking about it.
