Hostel Suggestions for Edinburgh

I am street performing clown trying to arrange housing for Edinburgh in August.
I am also a new member of this site- thanks for the community here!
Does anyone have any suggestions of a favorite hostel?

Royal Mile Hostel

I just booked Royal Mile Hostel - I did some reasearch, and this is the closest and the cheapest one - 15 pounds a night for a dorm - everybody else is at least 20 in august (All hostels raise prices for Fringe) If you want female dorm - book it now, they only have 1 room for women only, the rest is co-ed.

This is a fun one, used to stay there regularly. They do fill up quickly though. Remember it as a bit hippyish, but I like that sort of thing from time to time. Best part about it was they give first dibs to the people already there for re booking instead of the people coming in. At least that's how it used to be. Every hostel boots there rates for the festival, that's normal.
