This is so like me.

I just realized I'm going to be in Otterwa for about 5 nights (wed-sun, leaving mon) and um... forgot to plan where to stay.

I'm going to work my church connections and maybe try to find a corner of a sanctuary to sleep in... but I can't guarantee I'll find anything there. (although it would be very reminiscent of my childhood. ...seriously. church attic. We were homeless for a little while.)

I need somewhere to just sleep (floors are fine), but it's got to be very close to the downtown area. I have no vehicle. I could bus short distances, but might have late night schmoozing industry parties, after busses stop.

maaaaaaaan, I'm a dork.
I've had my anim fest pass for a couple months now.
...didn't even think to book a place at a hostel.
Giant festival.
nothing left in town.

I'm still working the family friends angle, but if anyone's got a floor, it'll be better than an all-night diner.

I've reaaaaally got to get better at this.

And I always thought my "fly by the seat of my pants" laid backedness was a charming quality.
