International Theatre Training Programme
Directed by Anna Dora Dorno and Nicola Pianzola - Instabili Vaganti Theatre Company
15th October 2012 – 10th May 2013
LIV Performing Arts Centre, Bologna, Italy.
The programme foresees a work focused on physical and vocal training and dedicated to the artistic creation on the theme of the “massification of the contemporary culture: differences and equalities. The task is to give to participants the necessary tools and techniques to overcome their own limits in order to become performers able to create physical and vocal actions and scores, and to interact with the contemporary performing arts languages. The group training will be focused on rhythm, space, singing, body and voice improvisation. The individual work will be addressed on the exploration of an organic quality of acting, on the creation of a dramaturgy, on the composition of the physical and vocal actions, on the interaction with media and music. Within the laboratory there would be meetings and work interactions with visual artists, musicians, performers, from different countries, who will be developing their own project in the residency programme of LIV Performing Arts Centre. The participants could be part of the events of LIV and be included also in some of the international theatre research projects of Instabili Vaganti theatre company During the programme the participants could use the spaces of LIV for their individual work, or together with other members of the Laboratory, in order to deep and develop their work on some specific theme or project. Anna Dora Dorno, director of Instabili Vaganti, will lead the participants towards the elaboration of their own individual performance, which could be presented to the audience, first as a work in progress, then as a complete performance, during the LIV 2013 program of perfomances. The group of participants will also work on a performance directed by Instabili Vaganti, that will be shown to audience as a final work of the Laboratory. Each participants can also propose workshops, performances, projects during the 2013 LIV Performances programme, and be involved in some of the activities of LIV, in order to be able to support his own expenses to stay in Bologna and Join the International Theatre Training Programme.

Free space dedicated to a work of sharing materials and developing specific projects by the group. Thursday 10.00 – 14.00
