shades of greatness...

so I went to see the new 'Bob Dylan' movie "I'm Not There" the other day and was struck by the familiarity of an actor playing Bob's bass player - it was hard to place him as he was wearing shades the whole time - waited for the credits and sure enough, it was Joe Cobden - better known to some of you old-timers as former street performer "Little Joe" - originally based out of Halifax, then Montreal. He's got a decent chunk of screen time, dialogue - the whole works - good on him!
