Let me formally introduce myself; my name is James Richardson III, I am located here in Los Angeles. I've worked in Music/ Video production for quite some time (MTV, Fox, E Channel, Lions Gate, and BBC etc).
We are currently in pre- production of a documentary we're shooting this summer about street performers/ Buskers thought-out America. The Documentary follows a narrator and Buskers throughout the US of the day to day life and explains the History, passion, art form, survival and struggles of street performing through out the country.
Currently looking for performers all over:
New York, New Orleans, Chicago, Portland, Memphis, New Orleans, Seattle, Boston, Austin, San Francisco and Washington DC.
We are interested in speaking with you, maybe interviewing you, Performing and sharing your memories and thoughts with us or anything that you feel may be of help. We would love to speak to you! The documentary would be more 'street' style rather than very personalized interviews. It will be a film that is true and respectful to the art form with no Hollywood spins.
