A set completely off topic & shameless plugs!

    Howdy all!

    Just dropping a few updates.

This week at The Cheers my article, "Sex Blogs - The Good, The Bad,
& The Ugly", takes a comical look at how porn & sex made the logical leap into the blogging world.
    Link: http://thecheers.org/eng/article_662.html

    Friday, http://www.gapersblock.com , a Chicago-centric e-zine is
running "My Dinner With Gacy", a little piece about my recollections
of the day Pogo (Gacy) was executed. The piece runs for a full week
starting this Friday, October 1, 2004

    And...

Mark your calendars! October 25, 2004 on the History Channel, I'll
be in a documentary about the IRS & Al Capone. This is a
piece produced, directed & narrated by Bill Kurtis and I'm one of
the Capone gangsters seen throughout the piece doing many nefarious
things. Yes, I'll be paying off the cops, hitting on flappers,
watching men get bludgeoned by Capone's baseball bat, getting beaten
to a bloody pulp in a loading dock and even having my dead body
being dragged through a meat locker. Big-time fun in the History
Channel. I hope I don't end up on the cutting room floor as many
folks will enjoy watching me get the snot beaten out of me! Hope
you watch! The project is tentatively titled "Investigating
    History: Taking Down Al Capone"

Sorry for yet another set of shameless plugs but I was pretty jazzed about the History Channel thing and Gaper's Block yesterday when it all came to pass! Enjoy!

    Glad to hear your busy.
Rather than starting a new thread anytime you get excited.
Please consider "Hype yourself blatantly here."
Which is an ongoing thread devoted entirely to people excited about their achievements.
If you ask Jim he might move it there and your info would have a longer shelf -life.

Sorry, should have been more specific.
Its in the blah blah section, its used fairly regularily so should be in the first page of topics in that section (I just checked it's 12th down)
        It's had 186 posts and 1200 views.
my point is/was that lone threads have a 24 hour lifecycle unless they're added to.
