Gathering of Jesters in UK in June

The National Guild of Jesters are meeting on 19 June in Northampton. Any jesters who happen to be passing by are welcome to join us.

    Royal Order of Jesters

*Many years ago I was given an antique "something or other" (it looks like a miniature compact or snuff box) ... on it's mother of pearl cover (surrounded by small diamonds) was a small emblem like thingy with a jester sitting atop a comedy/tragedy mask ... the banner behind the jester reads "Royal Order of Jesters" ... my question is: Was there ever such a thing?

I've no idea. Start a thread and see if anyone else knows.

        Masons?

Some poor lost soul with nothing better to do with his life but drink and shiver sent me this:
        www.unitylodge.com/appendantbodies/ appendant_jesters.html

but all I got was a 404 server not found ... thanks for trying though.

          got it

go into unitylodge.com, then click on appendant bodies and then click on Jesters. That way you get in.

This is a masonic order and doesn't really tell you much about it. The Royal Order of Jesters are clearly masonic.

The National Guild of Jesters are not masonic.

Indeed, correct, The Royal Order of Jesters are a subsection within the Mason's. Alot of speciality groups within the masons have a mini sub section.

The Magician members have one called "The Invisible Lodge" I believe. Mark Wilson is a member.

Any memrobillia from the Mason's may be worth alot of money, I once remember a standard mason's pocket watching being valued at £10,000. I would get that box valued and insured if I were you.
