Sun set celebration Key West, Fl. USA

Looks like performers are now gonna have to pay $7200.00 a year to work sun set celebration for approximately 1 and 1/2 hours of work time a day. Makes me so sad to see them do this. Busking ain't what it use to be. They say, well it's only $20 a day! Just pay it and shut up is there attitude, or go away. What do you think?

I think that is a rip off. Who's pocketing that? Are they trying to get rid of the performers? What a load of crap!

Hope you can hook up with a lawyer down there to sue. or pressure them politically. I will remain up here in Boston enjoying the cold and snow, and a reasonably friendly climate for street performers..tough crowds though, I suppose.

Hey Jeep (or anyone in KW), Any update on this? What's happening at Mallory with the performers? Is this the city trying this again or the celebration board?
