Questions about London during Olympic Games

Hey yall, who is going to London for Olympics? I worked Olympic Games 1986 in Atlanta, Universal Life Church minister's licence helped a lot and I was set up next to chrusified Jesus drama...- that's Bible belt!. We had to leave after the bomb explosion - they closed all pedastrian streets. Does anybody know what would be situation with street perforing in London during Olympics? Also I heard that it is very strickt in England with asking for money for street performing - it should be straight tips only,no suggestions...Does anybody know how Britsh face-painters work - do they charge or have a hat? Basically london is going to be a bit shit. Rumours are that the southbank will be closed to performers, Trafalgar Square looks like it will be closed too. Covent Garden will still be open though.
