What's the word, regarding DFW these days?

The big magician convention is in town the last week in June, and I'm hoping to pay for it and come back home with about 1k left over. Is there a worthy pitch in Dallas?

DFW Busking

I have an idea come to town with 2k and you should be able to go home with 1k. Seriously not much busking in DFW. West End has permit process and even if you get permit not very good $. Ft Worth Sundance Square requires no permit but $ money is not good but give it go.
