    Christchuch Crisis

    Hi all.
I’m trying to get up a project to raise money to help out in Christchurch, the Japanese dramas seemed to have wiped ChCh from our attention.

The whole story is on a Facebook page (my first) at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Christ...248315?sk=info . If the page starts to gather support it will be an enormous help in gaining the backing I need to make this work.

Many of us here have enjoyed the hospitality and generosity of this city, liking the page (if you do) and spreading the word among your friends is a simple way of helping.

We hope to raise at least $100k to give to the ChCh Salvation Army or similar hands-on ground level support organisation. If you want to buy one of the prints, please say so on the page. Any comments that can help bring the page alive will be much appreciated.

    Thanks

I've posted it to our pages. The Stilt Guys have friends in NZ & Japan and helping spread the word to help fundraising efforts in NZ is the least we can do!

Don't do facebook, don't you know it haunted? Good luck anyway.
A stand alone website would be more attractive to sponsors BTW.

It's all haunted, Martin and, as you know I'm almost computer illiterate, conning a teenager into making a Facebook site was the best I could do to get it out there. I know the Salvos can strange but don't know any other organization that isn't stranger. They're all haunted too. In my part of the world the Salvos are usually the first to arrive and offer help and the last to ask questions. Their official position in Australia regarding gay relationships is that they don't actually have one, although it is understood that they are uncomfortable.

How F#%$@n hard can it be????

I'm posting this again because I'm pissed off at all the performers who've enjoyed this place and can't even be bothered to press the "like" button on Facebook to help us help others.

I'm trying not to shout here but do you want me to start listing the people who have enjoyed $300-500 hats at the Dux and other spots.

If your thinkin' blackmail here, you're spot on. I'm not really after your money, just your support but then I'm not internal revenue.

Go to http://www.facebook.com/pages/Christ...248315?sk=info and "like" the page or I'll turn ugly and start telling the truth about Hotch's flag, the masseur's apartment and the missing tennis shoes. Does anybody want me to go there, really?

          I'm not asking much.
