KY DERBY -anybody going?
Hi, i was talking to a lot of people about KY Derby, and from what I heard the street scene is there 2 weeks before the race... the race weekend is kinda conservative, but 2 weeks before that is a menagerie, crazy crowds, fun! I am looking for a partner from New Orleans - or driving through NOLA - to go check it out and split the bills. I do not drive, looking for a partner with a car, sleep-in van- even better. Louisville
This past weekend was Thunder Over Louisville. I've worked this several times and it's a great event. Amazing fireworks!! The waterfront park is the place to be. There's an area called the "Chuckwagon" that you may be able to work in.
There is a steamboat race and several other great events.
Lot's of people!!!
