Portland to California

Hi all,

I'm driving from Seattle through Portland, down the coast to California over the next few weeks (October/November). I'm taking my show and looking for opportunities to perform but it is primarily a holiday after a busy summer.

Any ideas on where and when shows are possible at this time of year? I read about the Saturday (and Sunday) market in Portland. Does anyone know the current situation with this? Permit needed? Best time for shows? Location? Where is the fountain - in the market? Is there a draw? Draw time?

I have a circle hula hoop show with amplification (music and voice).

I'll probably also be passing through SF, LA, Las Vegas and maybe Salt Lake City and potentially Boulder if I have time to get there.

There used to be and probably still is a weekend market in Eugene. Cant remember the details because it was 10 years ago but Eugene is the hippy town or Oregon. Nice shows.

Been told that Busking (Street Performing) is not allowed in Clark County, which includes Las Vegas and Laughlin. Bad enough, but if they pick you up in Laughlin for "panhandling" the police booking is done in Las Vegas! When the police release you in Vegas it is your problem getting back to Lauglin. Last time I was in Laughlin with my pipes I looked around and there was not a single busker to be found. That was what prompted my inquiry.
