    eurupe in september, november, december...

Hello Everybody. my name is Simon, i have started my street performances few months ago and i fall in love! unfortunatly in england busking season is ending soon. Im looking for hot country where i can continue what I love.
i think about few cities like Rome, Malaga, Benidorm, south of France. all the post which i found in here are old, so im asking becouse i need currently informations about those cities. So if anybody can answer me- do I need any permits??? where to go if i need permit. any good pitches for magic street performance???. thanks very much for any answer.

Perhaps those that viewed thought that you had something to share.

Mmmmmaybe people from the countries you seek advice from don't read/type/speak English? And...Europe ain't exactly blazing hot in the winter... you might want to go a little farther afield?... Oz is tough but, hey...at least it's summer holidays Dec - Feb...

No permit needed and it is semi warm great pitch next to the huge Xmass tree they set up for the holidays.

Been in Rome off-season. It's not particularly amazing. I'll happily work it (as a living statue act) if I'm passing through, but if you're going over there specifically to work, you may be disappointed.

The locals are a little less pissy, however, because all the tourist performers are gone, so, it'll be easier to manage the pitches.

Sorry, I haven't checked here in awhile but I've done some winter busking in southern Europe.

I'm a musician, so my input might not match your experience, but I've had decent luck in Rome, Naples, Sicily (especially Catania and Syracuse), and Greece (Athens and Heraklion). I've performed between December and February in all three. You'll find plenty of English in Rome and Greece, but to perform in southern Italy it's really helpful to have a grip on Italian. The Puglian city of Lecce is also a hidden treasure, being a university city and a huge draw for tourists from northern Italy, but with very little English.

                        Cheers!
