    Key West, Miami, etc...

Miami was my targeted goal for the winter, but with the oil spill, I think my options have been moved to the west coast or Vegas. Are any of you being effected by the spill, and do you plan on uprooting for at least the next year or so?

Sweet! I might be down in Jan too! Are permits needed for Key West, Miami, or any of the other various cities?

Permit is needed in Key West to work Duval Street
No permit for Sunset Festival on Mallory Square
Permit is Needed for Lincoln Rd. in Miami
No permit needed for Ocean Drive in Miami, but you must work on the beach side of the road.
Permit needed for Ft. Myers. This is a decent pitch!!
            Hollywood is decent as well

Well it's over The new ridiculous street performer law was shut down last night at city hall. You still have to get a license $100. That's all, You apply for it in November and get in December. So come on down!

                    Fire in Florida?

I'm planning to come down to Florida for a while during the winter. Are there some good areas to perform fire and such? I do a Fire stick/juggling/fire eating/uni/diabolo show... So I am trying to decide how to narrow it down.

                    So, Fire or no fire?

Where in Florida is best for a big action packed circle show with fire?

And I know that in some places you have to get a permit and all that but fire is often a different story...

I have never been to Florida so any advice would help.

=) I'll be joining in on this inquiry too! I'll also have fire with me, with my first time down in FL.

Clear Water Beach Florida Pier 60 is very fire friendly and you can do two or three shows every evening during the Sunset festival, it goes on seven days a week. Don't let know one tell you different it's good if you do here something different it's because other performers want to keep you away, more money for themselves.
                        Go for it,
                        Good Luck

                          Hi Jeep!

I was just watching some old Renegade tapes I made from the IJA festival where you were MC. Will be good to see you again I am heading back down to Key West also making all the stops I can.
I not sure if it was Fargo, Baltimore or LA I think it was 1993 not sure on that either, if you could answer about Insurance, I do plan on getting it before I leave Minnesota just I thought it might be a good question all around. What places need the insurance as well as permit? Over all it is a great thing to get , whenever I travel I get it from a source I know well here in Minnesota.
