Does anyone know the current regulations in LA? It's been years since I've been. I've tried calling about it several times and I just get transfered from one office to another, spend hours on hold, and never end up with anyone on the other line who knows a gosh darn thing....
If I remember correct and things havent changed, permits on promenade/pier & can't be loud sept on weekends 2hrs for each pitch, free for all on hollywood blvd, and someone told me awhile back they've outlawed amplification on Venice beach.
I wouldn't be worried but my new act is going to be just as annoying (volume-wise) as your average breakdance group but with live acoustic drums on top of that LOL..... : / (sry) If you wanna check out the new OMB act: http://www.performers.net/forums/showthread.php?t=16606
