I am a speed painter (paint celebrities in under 4 minutes), and I would like to start street performing. Are permits needed in Daytona Beach? Is the Daytona boardwalk a good spot to perform? I a new to this so are you allowed to perform anyway on the boardwalk or are there designated areas.

The Boardwalk

Yes there is a permit required to perform on the boardwalk. You need to go to Joyland or Mardi Gras Arcades and ask for Dino.
