Passing throught St Louie and would like to know of anyone's experience in the city doing shows. I know the where to get the permit and the regs. just want to know how things are in the city for circle shows. Anyone have any experience working around the arch?

    Thanks in advance,

Haven't been in St. Louis since about 1996 but I bet you can still work the 4th of July festival down by the arch and in the area of clubs and bars just to the north of the arch. It's a massively big event in St. Louis for the 4th of July.

There also used to be shows sometimes at Union Station and out in the suburbs at Westport Plaza. All of this was many years ago and who knows what has gone on in the meantime but I would guess that any of these pitches could be started up again even if they haven't been worked for a while.

      Hometown Yay!

I've worked St. Louis a couple of times this year and last. Typically only good in the summer. However, good weather can change that at any time. Delmar is really the only "legal" place to work under the new ordinance. However, that can be easily challenged in court. You probably don't want to waste your time unless you have a strong sidewalk show to take to UC downtown. Weekends there can be ok. I have yet to find a "legal" spot that can accomodate a circle show. Enjoy though. The people in St. Louis arent really used to street performers. Education is key there.

      Fat hats to you
