Anyone ever done anything there? I'll be there in October and was wondering what the deal was. Any plazas, etc. etc...? Local laws/regulations?

It's october in a German city. Most likely the whole of down town will be in Oktoberfest mode for at least 2 weeks at some point. Lots and lots of drunk people.
Never heard of anyone working there, but looks like it's got a wide shopping street.
