It looks like i will spend september in Amsterdam this year, and I was wondering - what are the busking rules and decent pitches in Amsterdam? I was there last November - it was misarable: cold and windy, I saw some 'statues" on Dam Square and a juggler on LeidsPlein, whole bunch of musicians with accordeons all over the place...I am looking for a good spot for face-painting - a place with lots of kids, and may be some festivals to participate. Do they check if you have residency?
